1. The assault on Erquy

At the Gîtes du Pêcheur à Erquy, gîtes village located in Brittany in the heart of the Grand Site de France Cap d’Erquy-Cap Fréhel, the GR34 is just 200m away.

The environment in which holidaymakers are welcomed is just exceptional!
We’re in an unspoilt environment with lush nature made up of heather, broom, gorse, all contrasting with the emerald color of the sea …It’s a real picture to behold!

In summer, we offer a few hikes departing from the Gîtes du Pêcheur.
You set off on an adventure in the company of Françoise, the owner, heading for the port of Erquy and its cape! During this walk, Françoise tells you the history of Erquy and a few anecdotes.

This expedition can also be punctuated by swimming along the wild beaches of Erquy. A stop is planned at Cap d’Erquy to admire the view and enjoy the sea as far as the eye can see!

Then, another stop is planned at Lacs Bleus which are former quarries and where the water has a turquoise color contrasting with the color of the pink sandstone.

Finally, upon arrival at the Port d’Erquy and depending on the tide times, we offer a well-deserved aperitif on the traditional sailboat: the Sainte-Jeanne.
This moment allows us to end this escapade in joy, good humor and song thanks to Doudou, a navigator, who pushes the ditty with his guitar.
