Class4* Holiday Village, the Domaine de Gavaudun is a splendid 35 ha estate, hilly and dotted with woods and meadows.

It is an oasis of greenery and calm wonderfully located in the south of historic Périgord (Dordogne), at the gateway to Quercy, Gascony and Guyenne.

Its old, tastefully restored local stone buildings, its excellent restaurant, the Auberge de Vezou, and its modern accommodations surrounded by nature, as well as the many activities on offer, will ensure you have an unforgettable holiday.

All holiday accommodations are fully furnished and equipped and have a terrace equipped with garden furniture to fully enjoy the surrounding nature.

They all have a mini Hi-Fi system and/or a CD-radio-alarm clock combination.

Bed linen and towels can be provided. TV and DVD player available for rental. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout.

The sofa bed provides flexibility depending on family composition, but the accommodations are designed for the nominal capacity indicated.

Gavaudun is a small, typical village , dominated by its 11th century castle with a remarkable keep, nestled between the Lot and Dordogne valleys , close to the majestic castles of Biron and Bonaguil , the bastides of Monflanquin and Monpazier .

Sarlat and its festival, Rocamadour, Saint Emilion , Les Eyzies , Cahors , Moissac , Nérac , the prehistoric caves of Lascaux , Font de Gaume, Pech Merle and many other exceptional sites await your visit.

The Périgord is also particularly renowned for its gastronomy: duck, truffles, ceps, foie gras... accompanied by wines from Bergerac, Monbazillac, Cahors, etc. What a pleasure to go to the markets !

Whether you are a small family, a large group or a couple looking for a romantic weekend, you can choose from a selection of villas and cottages:

- Maisonnette du Lot 2-4 people with reduced mobility
A charming little house, ideal for a couple or a small family. It is located 100 meters from the community center and is suitable for people with reduced mobility.

- Guyenne house for 5-7 people with reduced mobility
A larger home, perfect for a family or small group. It is located 150 meters from the living center and offers all the modern comforts necessary for a pleasant stay.

- Villa Quercy 4-6 people
A very comfortable half-villa, quietly located 150-200 meters from the resort center. Each accommodation is slightly different in terms of orientation and interior layout.

- Villa Périgord 6-8 people
A very comfortable two-story half-villa with two bathrooms. It is quietly located 150-200 meters from the resort center.

- Gîte Le Fournil 2-4 people
A charming, rustic cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. It is perfect for a couple or a small family.

- Gîte La Chatière 6-9 people
A former farm building, tastefully renovated, offers a 104 m² gîte with 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, as well as a large covered terrace.

- La Bergerie Gîte for 8-11 people
Rustic cottage, 3 bedrooms, one of which is accessible from the outside, 3 bathrooms. Built on two levels, with a large terrace.

- Large gîte for 10-18 people
Rustic cottage of 200 m² with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, able to accommodate a large family or a small group in a friendly atmosphere. Large living/dining room and large covered terrace.

- On-site activities: you can freely enjoy our exceptional leisure facilities : Heated, illuminated swimming pool, spa (sauna, jacuzzi), illuminated tennis, basketball, volleyball and handball courts, football, trampoline, indoor table tennis, pétanque, billiards, children's play areas, walking trails, etc.

The Domaine de Gavaudun is particularly well suited to welcoming groups out of season.

We specialize in large residential weddings over a whole weekend, but also all kinds of other events :

communion, baptism, birthday, retirement, housewarming, family reunion, alumni reunion, group of hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, horse riders, seminar, greening, team building, etc.

For all your special occasions , the Domaine de Gavaudun is the ideal setting.

We can accommodate up to 130 to 180 people (25 gîtes and houses for 2 to 10 people), and double that with our colleagues within a 5km radius.

We offer our restaurant (Auberge de Vezou), but you can also choose your own caterer.

Our beautiful barn with terrace and barbecue can accommodate up to 100 people seated.

Our large room can accommodate up to 200 people seated. For larger groups, we can set up a marquee to suit your needs.

But this also ensures that the installations comply with safety and hygiene standards , and contribute to the economic development of the area, which is not the case with private rentals, without standards or taxation.

With Villages de Gîtes France, there is no commission, so you book at the best price and in complete security, directly from the owners of the establishments.

Please note that Domaine de Gavaudun does not use the Villages de Gîtes booking schedule, which is not compatible with its own. It therefore only accepts bookings made directly on its website.
